The Housewife short film, a proof-of-concept for the feature, recently wrapped up its year-long festival run with 14 Official Selections and 14 Awards, including Best in Show at the WRPN Women’s Int’l Film Festival; Best Dramatic Short, Best Actress (Kelly A. Turner), and Best Editing & Sound at the New York Long Island Film Festival; Best Thriller, Best Director (Jeremiah Kipp), Best Actress (Kelly A. Turner), and Best Child Actor (Brendan Riley) at the Venus on Broadway International Film Festival; Best Thriller Short, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress (Kelly A. Turner) at the New York Women in Film & Television Online Film Festival; Best Film at Northern Horror Film Festival, Award Winner at the Voices Rising Film Festival, and Best Actress (Kelly A. Turner) at the New York Urban Action International Film Festival.
The feature script is written by Kelly A. Turner, who will also reprise her role of Laura. Lisa Laing is producing, Alixx Schottland is Executive Producing, and Sirad Balducci is co-producing.
